these arrived and on unpacking them was very happy with the styling and overall look. easy to assemble. put the first one together and put the speaker on it.great. when assembling the second one however the plate in the base into which the stem screws came away ( its held on with two small spot welds – though the first stand looked the same and was fine). i suspect it was just one of those things. re ordered a new set with amazon that evening and had the new ones within two days which i was impressed with. put these up and there was no problems. it does say dont lift up by the stem and use the base which i think i would definately do as this may weaken the spot weld.
once up (with panasonic speakers) they look good and for the price am happy.

|Not supplied with the necessary mounting screws,
The stands themselves seem fine, but extremely annoyed to find not supplied with the necessary mounting bolts for my satellite speakers (LG). These require a single m5 x 20 mm bolt to attach them to the head mount.
All the other ones looked at were “universal” and come with the necessary bolts for single threaded and dual threaded speaker mounts but were out of stock at the time and these looked fine and reasonably priced. Looking at the head for these stands looks like it actually will support both of these, but doesn’t come with the mounting bolts needed.
The only bolts that are supplied are for “hanging” speaker mounts where you just hang speakers on the bolt that goes through the head mount.

|why pay more? good value for money,
these are really good quality speaker stands – i was able to hide the speaker wire down through the stem which keeps everything tidy. only down side was the little end cap couldnt be fitted but as it was behind the speaker it wasnt an issue
